A tigress relaxes in the shade at Bandhavgarh National Park in Northern India. From elephant back, visitors can see the camouflaged tigers in dense folliage without disturbing the big cats. This female watches one of the elephants manuver into the ravine from her overlook hidden by bamboo leaves and branches. Soon after she looses interest and dozes off. |

One of the most beautiful creations by man, the Taj Majal, and its glowing marble architecture took 20,000 workers twenty-two years to construct. Built by the Mugal emporor Shah Jahan (reign 1628 - 1658) in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. |
